Context

With the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, companies had to reorganize for remote work, which also led to the shift towards remote onboarding processes.
Problem

In this context, hiring a new employee became more time-consuming and complex, as all communication and document submission started happening via email. Thus, apart from the management difficulties, the high risk of losing information in the midst of numerous emails became a concern as well.
Proposal

FreePass emerges as an innovative application for Android and iOS, enabling the entire company onboarding process to be conducted through it, streamlining the process for both HR and candidates.
Developed in collaboration with Isabela Freitas, FreePass allows candidates to easily submit their information and data to HR directly through the application, optimizing the hiring time and bringing governance to the process. With a simple user interface, the workflows are fast and straightforward, minimizing any difficulties for the user throughout the process.
Overview

The user logs in using their mobile phone number and a password that was automatically generated and sent to their email. After the first login, the user receives some basic tips before accessing the home screen.
On the home screen, the user has access to several important workflows to complete their onboarding in the company, including personal documents, professional information, dependent inclusion, banking details, among others.
When selecting any of the workflows, the user is directed to a form with objective information that assists them in the process. As each question in the form is filled out, the progress bar is updated to provide guidance. Additionally, the home screen also displays the current status of each workflow.
Confidentiality

The application was designed for a confidential technology company in Brazil. Although the initial versions were developed for iOS and Android, the project was discontinued by the company.
Therefore, to showcase this case in the portfolio, the application was rebranded as FreePass, featuring a new logo and a fictitious name to preserve confidentiality criteria.
